Gaining a new puppy is an exciting time for your family. It is also the best time to get started on learning and training for both humans and their puppies. Things can go well for a time and change before you realize what has happened. I prefer working with their personality to redirect potential behaviors into a more positive outlet. I believe setting the foundation while they are young will greatly assist them as they mature. I would rather reinforce their good behavior instead of correcting the unwanted behavior later. With the proper tools I can help you and your puppy develop a relationship that is satisfying and rewarding for you and your family!
Even if your dog is no longer a puppy, they still have the capacity to learn or alter any unwanted behaviors. Dog training is teaching both the owner and their dog how to work together and trust each other. It is equally important to find the right trainer. Whether it is altering a behavior, teaching them a trick, obedience or how to greet people, I am certain that I will be able to assist you with whatever your dog needs. If you have a young pup, old pup, or a rescue pup, they are all welcome!
With the weather warming up and fun summer activities starting we can’t always take our pups with us. They can come here and make new friends and get new experiences! Whatever arises in your life, your pup will have somewhere to go if needed! If you would like them to learn something while they are here, they can participate in the day train option. They can learn a command, a trick or curb a behavior. If your pup is too young and you want to catch a movie, I now offer hourly rates!
The dog walking service provides walks/visits/playtimes/potty breaks for your pup while you are at work. For this service we can also take care of your cats or any of your furry friends. If you have a late night and your pup needs dinner or medication, that can also be taken care of. No matter the age or the breed, we will come to your home and visit with them!
If your dog is set in their ways or you need the tools to assist your puppy before they become set in their ways, private lessons are one on one to give a more focused training session without additional distractions. Some issues that arise may only need a slight adjustment to be successful. For more advanced issues several sessions may be necessary, or board & train is another option for you.

While your pup stays here, they will learn how to interact with other dogs and learn manners. I offer overnights, hourly, extended stays, and daycare. If your dog should need a refresher for obedience commands or to learn something new they can participate in day train or board and train. All needs will be met while they are here as if they were at home!
As a CGC evaluator, I have experience with helping owners help their pup get certified as a Canine Good Citizen. This is a set of skills that can prove useful in public places. A well-mannered dog can be allowed entrance into many places and can carry some weight with apartment buildings! Plus, you will have peace of mind knowing there is safety with anyone your dog encounters!
